TECHNOLOGY

The space features a state-of-the-art surround sound system, wireless microphones, a ceiling mounted projector, and a drop down film screen. Hybrid meetings are available, along with spite-screen capability using ClickShare, making it easy to connect in person and virtual participants.

CATERING

We work closely with our Kitchen and Events Manager to support catering for every type of event. Our preferred catering options reflect the diversity of our community and include American, Caribbean, African, Soul Food, Italian, Japanese, Greek, and Mediterranean cuisines. Seating is provided, with linen available upon request. We can comfortably accommodate both small gatherings and large groups.​ Contact the DBCFSN Kitchen and Events manager for the preferred catering list.

Queen Mother Mama Imani Humphrey was a transformative activist and educator. Born in Detroit, she began her career as a public school teacher of English and literature, where she wrote the first curriculum for African American literature in the Detroit school system.
